I can help you. I can help you go for lovely, calm walks where there is no pulling. I can teach you how to get your dog to come back to you when you call them, the first time. With a little well placed training I can help you create a calm and relaxed dog. Together we can train your dog to look to you and be the envy of everyone around you.
A Balanced Approach
I believe in a balanced approach to dog training. This means using a combination of consistency, clear communication, timing and reinforcements to teach your dog new behaviours. I use movement and play in my training practices. I teach you how to use food rewards and corrections to help your dog learn more desirable behaviours. This approach makes training more effective and ensures that your dog is happy and confident throughout the learning process. When you build a relationship with your dog their personality shines through and they become the best dog they can be.
I believe in interactive training for dogs/puppies and their owners to help build or rebuild their relationship. My intention is to teach you how to have a better relationship between you and your dog. I will ensure that training is a positive experience for both of you. Training is tailored to meet your dogs/puppies needs of any age. I believe that a well-trained dog, is a happy dog. I want you to achieve that so you can enjoy your dog. As a certified trainer I will work will dogs of all ages and breeds, puppies to seniors, Chihuahuas to Great Danes!
I like to ensure that every training session is filled with fun and understanding. I know that dogs, like humans, learn best when they are in an encouraging environment. By incorporating play, praise, and food into training sessions, you make learning fun for your dog. This not only helps to keep your dog engaged and motivated but also strengthens the bond between you and your furry family member. Training should be an enjoyable experience for both you and your dog, making each session something to look forward to. With my system of training, things happen and progress happens quickly.
Puppy Training
Puppy training sessions focus on essential social skills and learning manners and socialization.
Training for puppies is done at your house, in your neighbourhood, in stores or other busy areas to help socialize your puppy.
8 weeks and up.
Private Training
Any dog of any age can change their behaviour. Whether they are 2 years old or 10 years old you can teach any dog something new. You do not have to live with unacceptable behaviour.
Sessions can be in your home, neighbourhood, stores or anywhere you want to take your dog.
We will teach your dog effective obedience/manners and reinforcements for living with you wherever that is.
One to one training offers a different view on training. You and your dog can learn with me and then practice in and around other distractions when you are ready. Or we can add those distractions in together in one of our sessions. The possibilities with one to one training are endless.
I focus specifically on your dog and the problems they are having in your home. Together we can come up with the type of solutions that work best for you and your dog.
Customized Training Packages
Every dog is unique, and so are their training needs. At Balance Unleashed Dogs, I listen to you and we train to the specific needs of your dog/puppy. No matter the reason you contact me, I take the time to understand your dog’s/puppy's personality, breed and your goals. By considering factors such as age, breed, temperament, and previous training history, I develop a plan that is both effective and enjoyable for your dog/puppy. This ensures that you and your dog/puppy receive the attention and guidance needed to succeed.
