CONSULTATIONS

I offer a meet and greet consultation in your home. A consultation is an hour, some can go longer. Consultation prices depend on the km distance between us not how long I am in your home. Please contact Balance Unleashed Dogs

with the contact form below to enquire about the price.

During the consultation you explain to me the issues you are having with your dog/puppy. I will do an assessment with you and your dog\puppy to test their learning skills. Afterwards we will discuss which of my packages works best for you. Once you choose the package we will book you in for your sessions. A short lesson will be done at the consultation after booking your sessions. Training the dog is easy, it is usually us that need to change a few things in the our home and surrounding environment.  Each package session is an hour. If you are out of my area, a phone consultation can be arranged instead. We can discuss the possibility of zoom or messenger video trainings.

What methods do you use for training?

I use a balanced approach to make the training process enjoyable and effective for your dog. Positive learning and corrections are taught.

How long does it take to see results?

The time it takes to see results varies depending on the dog and how long the unwanted behaviour has been occuring, but many owners see improvements within a few days. 

Do you offer online coaching?

Yes, depending on what is for.

What if I have questions after the training sessions have ended?

Ask me! Once you and your dogs are clients of mine I will always be of service to you. Life happens, people forget things. If you need reminders or answers I will do my best to continue helping you and your furry friend.

Are you able to re-train an e-collar abused dog?

Yes this is possible with patience and the with the correct instructions a dog can be rehabilitated after suffering highly aversive e-collar training.

I will also teach you to use an e-collar humanely and effectively for great results. The e-collar is a tool we learn to use properly, it is only harmful if we use it incorrectly.

What do you charge for dog training?

I offer training packages. The price you pay after consultation depends on how many sessions you want. A consultation is an hour and a half @ $175. Depending on how many sessions you book,      (2 min-8 max), the price range is $275-$1125. HST is extra. After the consultation how many sessions the dog needs is decided. Sessions are an hour. I come to you so the cost includes the information you need, my time, gas, a clicker and food pouch.

I also offer 'Pay What You Can'  December, March, June and September. Sessions MUST be completed by the end of the following month. You tell me how much money you can spend and I tell you how many sessions and how long they will be.
