CONSULTATIONS

I offer a meet and greet consultation in your home. A consultation is 1 hour. I have a base price for consultations in my area. This price goes up depending on the distance I travel to get to you. Consultations are available by contacting Balance Unleashed Dogs via the form below.

During the consultation you explain to me the issues you are having with your dog/puppy. I will do an assessment with you and your dog\puppy to get to know you and your dog. A short lesson will be done at the consultation to give you an idea of the training you will receive. Afterwards if you are interested, we will discuss which of my packages works best for you. When you choose a package we will book you in for your 1st session.  Training the dog is easy, it is usually us that need to change a few things in the our home and surrounding environment.  Each package session is an hour. If you are out of my area, a video consultation can be arranged instead. We can discuss the possibility of video trainings.

What methods do you use for training?

I use a balanced approach to make the training process enjoyable and effective for your dog. Positive learning and corrections are taught.

How do I find out what you charge for dog training?

Contact me. I offer training packages. Depending on how many sessions you book, 2 - 8 sessions. It depends on what you choose to train. The prices range and are an investment in your pet. Sessions are 1 hour each. I come to where you need to train. Costs include the information you need, a clicker, a food pouch, text/email support for the life of the dog, my time, and gas.

How long does it take to see results?

The time it takes to see results varies depending on the dog and how long the unwanted behaviour has been occuring, but many owners see improvements within 3-5 days. 

What if I have questions after the training sessions have ended?

Ask me! Once you and your dogs are clients of mine I will always be of service to you. Life happens, people forget things. If you need reminders or answers I will do my best to continue helping you and your furry friend.

Do you offer online coaching?

Yes, I do. It would be a case by case decision on my part.

Are you able to re-train an e-collar abused dog?

Yes this is possible with patience. With the correct instructions a dog can be rehabilitated after suffering highly aversive e-collar training.

I can teach you to use an e-collar humanely and effectively for great results. The e-collar is a tool when used properly, it is only harmful when used incorrectly.
